Position: LED Architect
Base: Lane 888, Tianlin Road Shanghai
Responsibility:
1. Predevelopment and architecture of technology building blocksa. Owner of Philips LED engine cost and performance roadmap.b. Translate product teams’ predevelopment requirements and build up architectures of product that fulfill those requirements.
c. Catalyze innovations in LED chip designs, packaging and material science to achieve cost and performance targetd. Take a leading role in efforts to materialize those innovations 2. Product developmenta. Work as part of the product team to release LED packages to LED lamps/systems b. Continue product improvement to make it excel in performance. 3. Education
PhD/MSc in areas related to optoelectronics (i.e. materials science, electrical engineering) with extensive background knowledge- Quantum physics- Solid state devices and physics- Inorganic materials- Polymer science
b) Experience:
3+ years of experience in LED chip and/or packaging
c) Travel Frequency出差频率:

d) Competency and Skills 能力和技能:
a. Familiar with optical, electrical, and thermo-mechanical issues that are relevant to quality and reliability of LED Lighting products.b. Good command in English (oral and written) is a must.
