Job Responsibility:
Plan, design, and conduct cost effective R&D projects according to established scientific methods and international standards, and improve, generate new products, components, equipment, systems, and testing procedures.
Estimate the costs, resources, and time required to conduct a R&D project and monitor performance to ensure these targets are met while adopting the relevant procedures of the OSRAM Process House
Perform calculations, component and product specifications in collaboration with relevant departments, and other technical documentation so that prototype designs can be manufactured and assembled. Analyze test results and prepare detailed reports with recommendations and conclusions
Develop and maintain technical expertise on advances and innovations in research and science.
Ensure that patent situation of new product development is checked and that patents are applied for innovative results.
Support PCB layout design for optimum cost and performance
Support design and construction of tools for specific mechanical parts, assist to optimize thermal design
Support approvals at test labs
Support production in case of quality or part delivery problems
Support production in product introduction / test strategy and instruction / selection of equipments.
Job Request:
1- 5 years experience in power electronics, switch mode power supplies, electronic ballast development (prefer experienced with LED driver development)
Experience in multinational company environment is a plus
Communication and interpersonal skills, teamwork
Good knowledge of English language
Engineering degree in the major of relevant subject

R&D Engineers for Development of LED luminaires
Job Description:
1.Develop new LED streetlights and industrial LED lumianires, based on product specifications
2.Integrate solutions for thermal design, optics and LED modules
3.Build luminaire prototypes for testing
4.Test the luminaire performance, i.E. function, temperatures, light output
5.Provide data to the Construction Engineers
Job Requirement:
1.Min 3 years experience with construction/development of luminaires for the European market, preferred LED luminaires
2.Experience with the application of High Brightness LEDs
3.Knowledge of the luminaire safety standard IEC 60598
4.Experience with a 3D construction tool, like Solid Works
5.University degree in Mech. / Manuf. Engineering (or similar)
6.Fluent oral and written English

2.Develop products in line with international standards, company internal quality and performance guidelines and OEM requirements
3.Monitor the product development process. Ensure project time scheduling with using PM2000.
