As much as we love em’, our phones can be huge distractions from the work we need to get done! Tranquillo is a lamp in response to this modern problem that aims to encourage the user to concentrate. The phone itself acts as a switch to activate the lamp. Once docked, the lamp will turn on and the phone will automatically be put into do-not-disturb mode. Sure, the phone can be reactivated… but this subtle reminder goes a long way to remind the user of the importance of focus. Better yet, the light source itself can be removed from the frame and used remotely anywhere the user needs ambiance or illumination.
