the "BUG" method is an acronym for "Backlight Uplight Glare" and is new to LEED v4 and is referenced in Sustainable Sites (Light Pollution Reduction) for reducing "light trespass"... BUG classifies fixtures based on the likelihood of them creating light pollution. The BUG calculations are listed through IES-TM 15-11 Addendum A, Table A.

USGBC may have included the "BUG" Method to give project teams additional options beyond the LEED 2009 compliance route which uses a calculation, project teams can also use a "hybrid" approach of both the calculation option and the "BUG" option...

BUG looks at the compliance of a luminaire (aka a light fixture) with the backlight, uplight, glare framework. The BUG method may be more simple if the specs are available for all the fixtures according to BUG. But if some fixtures are not BUG rated, the hybrid approach could be the best path.

写的很清楚了,就是背光,上光和炫光的指标
再来简单讲讲,看图,很容易理解标准要求理想灯具只在fl和fm区域有光线,向后射的算背光,出射角太平的算炫光,向上的算天空辉光(会造成光污染)。

看这个灯,向背后射出部分光线,bl bm都超标了,算b2类。由于透镜缺陷部分光线全反射向上了,严重超标直接u4(实际路灯上面有盖子,肯定不会)。出射角度有点平了,fh值高,炫光也超标,算g1

再看这个灯,b0u0g0全部合格,fh炫光有一点但是还在g0标准内
