BeON learning bulb system keeps getting smarter

Security modules learn how you use your lights and will react to sounds in your home like doorbells and smoke or carbon monoxide alarms. We've made the bulbs modular (that’s the hole in the bulb!) so that you can add new functions in the future to add to your security and safety.

Our Story

"BeON emerged during a conversation between friends Alexei Erchak and Arvind Baliga. Alexei had just purchased a new house and was disappointed with lack of simple technology options for managing his new home. Arvind had just returned from vacation and was frustrated that his attempt at preventative security, lamps on timers, was not very persuasive.

Arvind had developed concepts for an intelligent burglar deterrent and Alexei had a clear vision for simple, stress–free technology in the home. Thinking they might be onto something, they spoke with security experts and realized that the entire category of preventative security was being overlooked despite being a critical first layer of defense in any complete security system.
