Avatar Inspired Modularity
Posted: 20 Oct 2010 12:03 AM PDT （来自yankodesign）Here’s a lamp from the coldest snow piles of Russia, presented by designer Anton Kozhevnikov who just happened to be really inspired by James Cameron’s Avatar. This lamp goes by the name “Atan” and has three modular fixtures. The base is heavy and full of sockets, each of them fitting and locking perfectly with the fixtures in order to assure stability. LED lights blast light from the tips of these fixtures, and puppies love it!
The tops of the lamps are interesting as they consist of a twisted wire with an LED string of lights twisted along them. Flexible necks allow the twisting and turning you require in a wild lamp such as this. Truly Eywa doth smile upon the tundra today.
